Hey Y’all, it’s almost here—it’s almost Advent. Are you ready? I am so excited for the liturgical season ahead, but I can honestly say…I’m not quite ready yet! Inspired by fellow Catholic Mama, Bonnie Engstrom, I have put together a little Advent care package giveaway. I love putting together themed gifts and care packages and am super excited to give this one away. It is full of lots of little things that I hope will bless the winner’s Advent and help them to enter more fully into the joyous season.

I truly believe that Advent can be such a special time of waiting and longing and reflecting. I know Advent comes with a lot of hustle and bustle, and culture tells us Christmas is here, but for the last few years I have been trying to intentionally fight that in my heart and in my home. It is my prayer that who ever wins this little giveaway will find inspiration to do the same with the items that I have included. I picked a few items for your home, a few for you and a couple for the kids in your life.
Alright, enough rambling! Here is a breakdown of what is included in the package:

The Advent banner and peg dolls are handmaid by me…keep in mind that they are made with love, not perfection! All the other items I purchased (also with love).
To enter all you have to do is leave me a comment here on this post. Tell me what you are looking forward to this Advent, or what item you would really love to win. You can also enter over on my Instagram post. That’s it! I will pick a winner on the first Sunday of Advent (November 27, 2022) and get the package sent out ASAP.
Please no international entries! Sorry, those international shipping prices would raise a couple of husband eyebrows!
Good Luck & Happy Advent Friends!

I’m looking forward to embracing the “wait” and “preparing Him room” in my heart and our home amidst the twinkling of lights. Allowing more room in my heart for His true and everlasting light.

I can’t wait to sit around the table as a family each night, light the candles on our Advent wreath, and read an Advent devotional. 🥰

I’m looking forward to slowly decorating the house. It’s fun as we anticipate Christmas, and also my daughter’s birthday which is ok Christmas day. It’s always extra special and filled with much anticipation. ❤️ I also love the Jesse tree and have kids who eat it up.

I am looking forward to the special hymns of advent, as well as our Advent wreath and Jesse tree traditions! It’s so beautiful to prepare myself anew each year for the coming of Jesus. Of course, He is unchanging – always the same. But as I grow and change and learn, I meet Him each year from a different place than the year before!

My favorite advent tradition is celebrating the wonderful feast days! This season is so rich and overflowing with feast days, our family gets to enjoy them by making special meals and crafts. 🤗❣️
My favorites are Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Juan Diego and St. Lucy. 💕💕🙏 - Katie Walsh
I am looking forward to using our new Jesse Tree ornaments. I have been hand making them with felt for the last 4 years and they are finally ready! I love your Advent banner!

I am looking forward to getting married!! Next June was the initial scheduled wedding date, but we were too excited that we moved it to December 17th! The anticipation of the sacrament is strong 🙂 I am excited to prepare for Jesus’ arrival to this world, while preparing to receive Him on our wedding day, “the liturgical crowning of the marriage”.
All of these items look so beautiful!! - Janet
Beautiful collection. I’m looking forward to singing Veni at dinner and lighting the advent candles at the table every night.
