It’s back to school season!

We Don’t Eat Our Classmates– This back to school book is clever and funny and makes us all chuckle at the ridiculousness of a dinosaur in a human class who has a hard time resisting the temptation to eat her classmates!

Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon is a fun read about a little girl that knows just how to be herself, and who isn’t bothered by the criticism of others.

The Invisible Boy- I love how the illustrations in this book really bring the story to life. It’s a great read about Brian, I quiet boy who isn’t really noticed by anyone in his class.

The Sandwich Swap– This cute story is about friendship, and how differences between friends can be appreciated.

All Are Welcome– This book is a great reminder of how we all belong together.

School’s First Day of School is a fun look at the first day from the building’s perspective.

If I Built a School is a fun imaginative read about building a dream school. My boys love the imaginary school upgrades and talking about what they would want most in a school.

Wemberly Worried is the story of a little mouse that worries about everything, especially going back to school. I good book if you have a child one who is a little nervous about starting school.

The Kissing Hand is sweet, classic read about a raccoon who doesn’t want to leave his Mama to go to school. Perfect for littles (and parents) that are struggling with separation anxiety.

If You Take a Mouse to School and Pete the Cat Rocking my School Shoes are two fun reads that are specifically about the first day of school.

Do you have a favorite back to school book? We would love to hear about it!
Cheers!
