Have you taken the love languages quiz? One of my top love languages is gift giving. I love expressing my love and appreciation for people through gifts, but unfortunately there’s a lot of times I miss my friends and families birthdays, sure I send a text but I want to be more intentional, so I decided to try a new system to try and stay on top of birthdays! First, I ordered a package of generic birthday cards from Amazon. This eliminates the need to remember birthday cards on my weekly grocery trips, they are also much more economical which frees up some money in the budget to add gift cards or small surprises to the cards. I’d much rather treat a friend to a cup of coffee than a expensive card that will end up in the trash. I also grabbed stamps to have on hand. Now at the beginning of the month I plan to spend a little time getting birthday cards ready to send out for the month. Of course, I’m sure I’ll still miss a birthday here or there, but I know if I have everything here at home I have a much better chance of celebrating those I love. If you want give this little system of cheer with me check out these card packs on amazon: I grabbed this pack of 120, should last me for a while. I also like this watercolor pack. If you’re looking for more variety, this pack includes 48 different designs. And here are some ideas of small gifts to include with the card. (Some items might require a Manila envelope and a couple extra stamps, but could definitely add to the joy of the happy mail!) Starbucks gift card Sonic gift card Dairy Queen gift card Favorite candy And for kids: ConfettiStickers Temporary Tattoos I hope these give you some fun ideas for sending a little birthday cheer! Do you have any other ideas?? Please share! Happy Mailing! Meg
